Effluent Pumps
The most common pump in Alberta septic systems — moves treated effluent from the pump chamber to the drainfield or holding area. When this fails, the alarm sounds and the system backs up fast.
Sewage & Grinder Pumps

01. High-water alarm sounding
Your alarm panel is beeping and the light is red or orange. This is the system telling you the pump is failing to move liquid out of the chamber.

02. Pump runs constantly — never shuts off
A pump that won't stop running is usually a stuck float switch or a pump that's lost prime. Left unchecked, it will burn out the motor entirely.
